Employee Christmas Fund Committee
Because there is a "No Tipping" policy on campus, the Employee Christmas Fund committee was established, under the supervision of the Resident Council, to encourage and provide an opportunity for Sunnyside residents to express their appreciation (through monetary donation) to the Sunnyside Staff for their dedicated service throughout the year. The Chairman of the Christmas Fund Committee sits as a member of the Resident Council.  Employee Christmas Fund Committee



Green Committee
Here you can find information on the third of five (5) standing committees of the Resident Council. This committee advises and assists in the preservation of the environment and natural resources of the Sunnyside campus: energy, water, paper, tin, aluminum, plastic, glass, and other commodities that the committee identifies. The purpose is to plan and mobilize the residents, employees, and administration to this task. The Chairman of the Green Committee sits as a member of the Resident Council.  Green Committee


Neighbors Committee
Here you can find information on the fourth of five (5) standing committees of the Resident Council. In an effort to assist in the integration of new residents onto the Sunnyside Campus; a committee of volunteer, established residents has been created to welcome and help coordinate the move in and integration of new residents. Sunny Treasures Committee
Here you can find information on the fifth of five (5) standing committees of the Resident Council. The Sunny Treasures Committee shall determine policies for operation of resident led and run retail operation, "Sunny Treasures." Sunny Treasures activities encompass: a Gift Shop, Furniture sales, Used Book sales, Christmas Gifts & Yard sales, and other sales, as designated by the committee. Funds raised through Sunny Treasures activities are returned to the residents of Sunnyside by supplementing activities and services that benefit residents at all levels of care. Allocation of funds acquired through Sunny Treasures retail activities are recommended by the Committee to the Resident Council for approval. Tech Forum Committee
The Tech Forum is a group of Sunnyside Residents working to improve the availability, applicability, and use of technology on behalf of Sunnyside Residents. The group is responsible for several efforts such as the Geek Squad computer assistance team, publication of the Sunnyside Times on the web, in print, and on channel 971, the development of a variety of technical presentations, and other activities.  Tech Forum
