The Sunny Treasures Committee, a Standing Committee of the Sunnyside Resident Council, is an on-campus organization supported and operated by resident volunteers. The Committee is engaged in converting usable, donated merchandise into funds that are returned to the Sunnyside community in the form of allocations which are approved by Council. Proceeds from various fundraising events throughout the year (Christmas Sale, Furniture Sales, and Yard Sales), as well as monies received from the Gift Shop, help to support the Sunnyside Fellowship Fund; activities for residents in all levels of care: independent, assisted living and healthcare; the Highlands and the Eiland Center Libraries; and the Employee Appreciation Fund.
