Baard Polishes His 100th Car !
On Monday, August 20, Baard Grindal waxed his 100th car! In an article published earlier in the Sunnyside Times, Baard's hobby of detailing cars -- at no cost to the owners -- was described. For the last two years, Baard has been working on cars to give himself something to do when he cannot sleep. When that article was published, Baard had completed approximately 90 cars. On August 20 he polished off (forgive the pun) his 100th car since taking up this hobby. In these pictures, Susan Sheridan and her dog Bridget stand proudly with what looks like a brand-new car.
