Bears are in the news again! Here's a bear photo captured by Andy Sale last month. And residents are reporting seeing one, sometimes two - even a mother and her cub - nearly every day. This means that residents should not be feeding birds during this time of the year. Summer is a time of plentiful natural food opportunities for birds, and full bird feeders unfortunately attract the bears. Also, since bears have been sighted during the early evening and early morning hours, please be alert as you walk the streets and paths of our beautiful campus!
