MS WORD Tip: Words and numbers dangling at the end of the line?

Wanting a word or number to be associated with next line, vs. ending with a number? (i.e., 76 trombones - 76 shows at end of line. Place cursor in front of "7" and do a soft return: Shift + Enter. Now, the number "76" will show on the same line as trombones.
