Young Musicians and Special Guests Visit The Highlands Sing-a-long to Entertain.........

Young musicians love to share their talents with Sunnyside folks because  "They tell us such nice things" as they show their appreciation for our efforts.  This leaves a lasting impression on youngsters who have done their very best to bring a breath of fresh air to Assisted Living, The Terrace, The Highlands, or the Chapel. They have prepared music to share with you.  They are learning self-confidence in strange and unusual settings as well as the skill of playing on "different" sounding and feeling instruments.  Our much loved Sunnyside bears joined us today!

Several residents have relatives, friends, and students who play music in formal and informal ways. Watch for announcements in the Funside and on the bulletin boards for opportunities to support those willing to provide entertainment.

Keep your own brain active by participating in a wide variety of music opportunities right here on campus.  Take lessons, sing with others, learn to play an instrument or attend listening opportunities.

Interested in making music?  Join the Chapel Choir, the Sunnyside Singers, volunteer to play or sing in Assisted Living or Health Care.  The Shenandoah Valley Choral Society is also seeking members.

Sing-a-long with Barbara many Friday evenings at 7:00 in the Highlands piano lobby.
