Highlands Association

The Highlands Association is a resident-led fellowship. Each permanent resident of the Highlands is automatically a member of the Highlands Association (herein afterwards called the Association).

An Association Executive Committee oversees the Association activities and is governed by the Association By-laws. The Executive Committee consists of four elected officers and eight volunteer floor representatives and the Sunnyside Residential Living Director.
The Executive Committee will:
  • Identify problems of concerns of residents
  • Foster community among the residents
  • Offer recommendations for improvement in residents’ living
  • Encourage residents to participate in the activities of the Sunnyside community
  • Assure close coordination with Residential Living Director and Sunnyside Resident Council
